Practical guidance from the Band team.
Start with an idea
A template gives you a ready-made exercise list to edit. An empty workout gives you room to choose every movement yourself.
- Open Builder, then Create Workout.
- Choose Start from template or Add exercise.
- Give your routine a name you will recognize.
Adjust the details
Reorder exercises with their drag handles. Open an exercise to edit its prescription, and use Workout setup to adjust the routine. Review the final duration and exercise list before saving.

Save it for next time
Your saved routine appears in Builder. You can return to it when you want a familiar session, or edit it as your preferences change.
Custom workouts are stored on your device. Use the app’s backup and restore tools when moving your data to another device.
Before you train
Choose an amount of exercise that suits your current ability. Stop for pain, dizziness, or unusual breathlessness. If an injury or health condition affects exercise, seek advice from a qualified health professional.
